After School Program (ASP)

In our After School Program, elementary age students receive literacy support, homework assistance, an afternoon snack, and the companionship of other refugee children their age. This support enables the children to improve their grades, build good work habits, enhance language literacy and boost their overall confidence.

The After School Program is led by a qualified program director who works closely with local schools to provide individualized attention to our students in order to reinforce the school curriculum and help close learning gaps. Madonna Mission also helps eighth grade students with scholarship applications as well as high school entrance exam preparation.
