Learning in Action

Learning in Action is an engaging summer program for grade school students that combines academic lessons, physical fitness activities and field trips. The program has three fundamental pillars: continued academic growth through literacy, math, and science lessons; physical fitness through sports clinics, outdoor activities, and swim lessons; and socialization through counselor support and newly formed friendships. The academic support offered during the summer weeks helps to prevent summer learning loss often prevalent when students do not have means or access to attend summer programs.
